Told I had the devil in me

I hid my head, what could be worse?

By the age of twelve religion burned

I totally relate to this poem, I hate the church. I avoided going there when I was with my parents, around age 10, anyways the mood there Shunned me! Hail this poem!

  This actually happened to me. The pastor called me up in front of the church for no reason, and announced to the congregation that I had the devil in me. He made me stand up in front of the church while he read a bunch of bible verses. I was twelve at the time.
  Church never really did much for me, so I turned to metaphysics, and the occult.
